Sugar and Spice and Stitches
Just in time for Christmas, Annabelle has added a few stitches and an enlarged lower lip to her beautiful smile. She did not consult us on this first, but I guess she wanted to be original for the Christmas picture on Saturday. :) She ended up with 5 stitches between the inside and outside of her lip and was very brave as the doctor fixed it up for her. She cried with the first stitch but held still and was quiet the rest of the time.

I HAVE A FUTURE!
I know, I know, it's hard to believe, but it's true. This week I officially signed my offer letter from Deloitte & Touche, LLP and called the other firms to tell them no which was not an easy task for me, but they were all really cool about it. Now, it is not officially a future. There is still a chance that I screw things up very badly during my internship and don't get an offer for a full-time position, that would be pretty bad. But as long as I don't do that, I think I'm in. The other possible scenario is that I being an auditor (not an uncommon feeling). But, at least for now, I have a future. Congratulations to me.
Gettin' in to the Christmas Spirit
It's Christmas Time!!! I love Christmas, especially this year since I'm so burnt out on school this semester. To help get in the mood of the holidays we got a Christmas tree and some lights and they look awesome this year. Last year was our first tree and our first time decorating a tree without the help of our more knowledgeable and experienced parentals. Let's just say, it looked pretty ridiculous. This year, I think we figured it out a little more. Probably since Marci is a college graduate she can now decorate a tree. Here's some pics so you can enjoy our newest masterpiece. It's in our front room right by the door and in front of the window so you can see it from outside. Enjoy!

Christmas Party
I have to admit that I did not try and recreate the victory dance at the company Christmas Party. (I am sure it was formally called a holiday party, but we all know it is a Christmas Party). As my first attempt at blogging, here is proof that I did show up at the party. The site is awesome, thanks Mike!

the little boy who loves to hug.
well, i thought i'd share this story with you guys because, well, it's kinda funny.
so i have this little boy in my class named Daniel- we call him Dani for short. Well, Dani looovvees to give hugs. he is so adorable- he just smiles all the time- so the hugs are usually happily received...until recently.
every day after school, i give my little stinkers a "high five" and a "have a great day!" before they leave. lots of the squirts like to give hugs at this point- which is so cute, and one of the great perks to the job (all the love!).
well, yesterday, Dani gives me this hug...except it was a total wrap around the leg...and neared squeezing my tush. i was like, "whoa there." i thought it was a one time thing.
today, Dani comes in for the hug....and well, he just latches on to the leg again. except his hands were DEFINITELY squeezin the TUSHY today. I jumped! (I think I scared him).
i kindly told him "thank you for the hug, but not so tight because of the baby..." (yeah right- not so tight because that's my BUM!) and he just smiled. (side note: i'm totally embracing the whole baby thing- you can get away with anything!!)
it will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow. what do i do if the bum squeezing persists? it's not like he's a 5-year old perv. he just loves to hug....

Mom has a very valid point
So I was thinking about what Mommers said about the "founding fathers" thing it all started to make sense.
Our country had founding fathers because they were all men. If our family had founding fathers, I don't think I, or my brothers, would exist because two men can't have children, although San Francisco is the home of "founding fathers." So Mom, thank you for not being a man. Dad, thank you for not choosing a man. I am announcing the official title change of Mom & Dad's profile picture to "founding parentals" instead of "founding fathers."
Thank you Mom for your very valid complaint.

Founding Fathers?????
Hey, I take issue with this founding fathers thing. If we have to be generic I think it should be founding mothers.
Mike and Marci and Dad and Mark, we will highlight your dances at our very first I-Pod dance night. So don't forget the moves. Very cute.
Luvya all,
Mom

Mark & Dad BYU Victory Dance
When BYU won an amazing game against Utah last month I couldn't help but wonder, "did Mark & Dad choreograph this victory dance?"
